Position Summary: The primary responsibility as Service Manager will be to provide and maintain field technical support of Air Force One's client facilities and systems. This includes performance of field quality assurance surveys, equipment operational and performance tests, and review of trade standards.

  • Obtain working knowledge of Air Force One operations, portfolio of services, policies and procedures. Implementation and execution of those as necessary.
  • Review equipment historical data, PM reports and provide insight to equipment performance trends and identify needed repairs, overhaul or replacement.
  • Leadership of service / project associates as well as experience in related trades of piping, sheet metal, and subcontractors.
  • Provide direction for dispatch to ensure we exceed customer expectations and commitments.
  • They will oversee the delivery of the Gross Profit and Gross Margin as required by the annual budget.
  • Oversee budget, labor costs, supply costs, inventories, and ensure services are in agreement between AFO and the client.
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations.
  • May assume on-call rotation if service technicians are unavailable.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
  • 6-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area, or completion of accredited HVAC school with an Associate’s Degree.
  • 7+ years of managing staff, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
  • EPA Refrigerant handling certification required
  • OSHA certification a plus
